2 June 2011 - New book cover

My UK publishers have been talking about the cover for my second book for a while now.  I knew they had something special planned, but even I was absolutely thrilled when they finally sent through the draft.  It's along the same lines as the jacket for the UK paperback, and I think it's absolutely stunning!   I love the girl twirling around in the blue dress - it captures the mood of the story perfectly and reminds me so much of my feisty heroine, Franny.

Book 2 is out in the UK in trade paperback (like a soft hardback) on 1 September 2011, and the title is FALLEN ANGELS.  For all my US readers, BEWARE - it's actually out first in the US, on 9 August this year, and goes under the title SINS OF THE MOTHER.  They're the same book, though, so don't pick up both!  It was basically felt there was too much angel-lit in the US, so they went with something different.  The US cover is still under wraps, but I'll put it on here as soon as I can.  But for now, here's the UK jacket:
